Shipping Policy

At BuffedGlass, we aim to process, package, and ship orders safely and efficiently. Since many of our products are fragile, each order is carefully packed using protective materials to help reduce the risk of damage during shipping.

By placing an order with BuffedGlass, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been confirmed.

Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or statutory holidays. During busy periods, processing times may be longer.

Processing time is separate from shipping/transit time.

Shipping Rates

Shipping fees are calculated separately at checkout based on the customer’s delivery location, package size, package weight, and selected shipping option.

BuffedGlass receives discounted shipping rates through Shopify, which helps us provide relatively affordable shipping options when available.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been shipped, unless required by applicable law.

Free Shipping

BuffedGlass offers free shipping on orders over $100 CAD before taxes and after discounts.

Free shipping eligibility is calculated automatically at checkout.

Shipping Locations

BuffedGlass currently ships to eligible locations within Canada and the United States.

Shipping availability may vary depending on the product, destination, selected carrier, and any applicable shipping restrictions.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if we are unable to ship to the address provided.

Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times may be shown at checkout when available. These estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed by BuffedGlass.

General estimated delivery times:

Canada: approximately 2–7 business days
United States: approximately 5–12 business days

Delivery times may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, service disruptions, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information if tracking is available for your selected shipping method.

Tracking updates may take time to appear after the shipping label has been created.

Packaging and Fragile Items

BuffedGlass takes reasonable care to package fragile items using protective materials such as cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and other cushioning materials where appropriate.

While we take steps to protect all shipments, we cannot guarantee that a package will be handled carefully by the shipping carrier after it leaves our possession.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at buffedglass@gmail.com.

To help us review the issue, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged item
  • Clear photos of the outside packaging
  • Clear photos of the inside packaging and protective materials

Please do not throw away the damaged item or packaging until the issue has been reviewed, as the carrier may require photos or inspection.

Damage claims submitted without photos or after the review window may not be eligible for replacement, refund, or store credit, unless required by applicable law.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

BuffedGlass is not responsible for orders delayed, lost, returned, or delivered incorrectly due to an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately at buffedglass@gmail.com. We will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes once processing has started.

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times and package handling are outside of BuffedGlass’s direct control.

BuffedGlass is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs, weather, incorrect addresses, holidays, service disruptions, or other events outside of our control.

If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours, building management, your local post office, or the shipping carrier.

BuffedGlass is not responsible for stolen packages after confirmed delivery by the carrier. However, you may contact us and we will do our best to assist with the carrier’s claim process where possible.

Returned Packages

If a package is returned to BuffedGlass due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or failure to pick up the package, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the order.

Original shipping fees may not be refundable unless required by applicable law.

International Shipping, Duties, and Customs

For orders shipped outside of Canada, customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import charges required by their country, state, province, or region.

BuffedGlass is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges applied after the order has shipped.

If a customer refuses a package because of customs fees, duties, taxes, or import charges, any refund may be reduced by original shipping fees, return shipping fees, and any costs charged to BuffedGlass.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuffedGlass is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier errors, lost packages, stolen packages after confirmed delivery, customs delays, incorrect addresses entered by the customer, or events outside of our reasonable control.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
